Job Description
The HSE Advisor plays a critical role in supporting Weatherford’s commitment to health, safety, and environmental excellence across its operations in Egypt. This position contributes to the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE programs, ensuring alignment with Weatherford’s Global Operational Excellence and Performance System (OEPS). The role interfaces with multiple product lines (operational business units) and contractors, driving proactive safety culture and regulatory compliance . The role will also be responsible for monitoring and reporting on HSE performance, as well as ensuring compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and standards.
Responsibilities:
Maintain the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards and industry practices and comply with the Company’s Rules to live by

Seek continual improvement in Health, Safety, Security & protection of the Environment, taking into account responsible care, process vulnerabilities, public, customer and employee inputs, knowledge and technology and best business practices to exceed customer expectations
Facilitate the application of Weatherford’s Global HSE Operational Excellence and Performance System (OEPS) across assigned facilities.
Support the roll out of HSE initiatives and campaigns to enhance awareness and engagement.
Interface with various product lines (operational business unites) to provide HSE guidance and support.
Implement auditing and monitoring programs, ensuring timely execution and effectiveness of corrective actions.
Review and monitor contractor HSE plans, ensuring compliance through audits and regular inspections.
Lead and participate in HSE incident investigations, root cause analysis, and development of corrective action plans.
Track closure of actions and verify effectiveness of implemented controls.
Review HSE sections of client tenders and proposals to ensure alignment with Weatherford’s HSE OEPS and legal obligations.
Act as the HSE focal point for major onshore and offshore projects, ensuring alignment with client expectations and industry best practices.
Complete HSE reports to Weatherford management, and clients.
Conduct regular site visits to monitor service delivery activities and ensure adherence to HSE standards and procedures.
Support internal and external audits and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Required:3+ years experience in a similar role
Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and standards, including OSHA regulations and environmental permits
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other relevant software
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Flexibility and the ability to adapt to changing situations
Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
Current location Cairo would be preferred
You must be eligible to work in Egypt without a visa
Qualifications:
BSc in Engineering or Science
Degree in Occupational Health would be an advantage
