The Financial Controller is responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting operations, ensuring accurate financial planning, reporting, and compliance. The role supports management decision-making through budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis, while ensuring adherence to local laws, tax regulations, and internal controls.

How you create impact
Manage and oversee all finance and accounting operations, including general ledger and financial controls
Prepare, review, and publish monthly financial statements and management reports
Coordinate budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support business planning
Support month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and financial reporting requirements
Coordinate regulatory reporting and liaise with external auditors, tax advisors, and banks
Oversee tax activities including VAT, WHT, payroll tax filings, payments, and tax inspections
Maintain financial schedules and records (FSL, accruals, open files, loss files) and resolve technical accounting issues
What we would like you to bring
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in finance or accounting roles, including senior-level responsibility
Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls
Solid understanding of local tax regulations, VAT, WHT, and statutory compliance
Experience coordinating with external auditors and managing audit processes
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
High attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Fluent in English and Arabic
