Job Description

Company: MCV INDUSTRY ( egypt)- Job Purpose:The EV Service Engineer is responsible for managing field service issues, supporting root cause analysis and corrective actions for system faults, and overseeing High Voltage (HV) Electrical Systems (up to 1000V), including HV batteries, electric motors, and associated modules such as HVAC systems, power steering, and related componentsJob Duties and Responsibilities:Search, develop, and provide service procedures for technicians to successfully repair field vehiclesEnsure that strict safety protocols are followed when working with HV systemsResponsible for carrying out extensive electric vehicle diagnostics, repair, issue tracking, and escalationEnsure proper repair action for EV vehicles that service technicians can correctly and repeatedly performPerform system insulation tests on the vehicles when neededPrepare technical reports and develop baseline diagnostics when necessaryCoordinate with the Technical Support team to escalate major field service issues Ensure the implementation and usage of EV special tools to improve effectiveness and efficiencyEnsure the integration of technical staff in technical training programs designed and arranged by the Technical Training departmentMaintain the MCV standardized workshop process through serviceability requirements to improve the overall customer experienceJob Skills and Abilities:Good command of the English language, French / German or Chinese will be an advantageExcellent computer skillsStrong interpersonal skillsAble to work efficiently under stressFlexible and willing to work in outdoor environments (inside & outside of Cairo), as this is a field service-based roleQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering0 – 3 years in Electric HV systems Diagnostics and Repair Basic knowledge of engineering disciplines (eg, electronics, software, control systems) within job-related areasExperience in testing and debugging automotive systems software is an asset
