Warehouse Coordinator

Minimum Educational qualification: Minimum bachelor’s degree
Minimum Relevant work experience: Minimum of 3 to 5 years relevant and successful operational experience in a leadership role in one or more of the following: – Warehouse management, Transportation and Distribution, Physical Logistics and Demand and Supply Planning.

Nestlé Ghana Limited is currently looking for a Warehouse Coordinator to effectively manage operations within the scope of a distribution center such that the deliverables are achieved in a cost-efficient manner, in compliance with best practices and while ensuring timely completion of customer orders.
Responsibilities:
Ensure Safety, Health and Environment, Quality and CARE regulations and Best Practices within warehousing operations
To ensure a well-coordinated end-to-end management of inbound, outbound and all related activities
Ensure clear understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) and drives the consistent achievement of these KPIs
Ensure optimum utilization of all available resources including labour and material handling equipment etc.
Drives strict adherence to best warehouse practices including First Expired-First Out (FEFO), traceability etc.
Develop a problem-solving mindset within the team to proactively drive improvement initiatives including waste reduction
Drive cost optimization initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and performance of the warehouse operations
Ensure smooth operations by effective communication and close collaboration with all internal partners at factory, Supply Chain, Procurement and external partners as Suppliers, Customs and Transport providers.
Coach, train and develop the warehouse team with the required technical and leadership competencies to deliver.
